How many routes does Yamhill County Transit provide?
We currently operate 10 routes, six (6) local fixed routes in McMinnville and Newberg, and four (4) commuter routes weekdays and two (2) routes on Saturday. For our riders experiencing mobility and functional limitations, we offer two reserve ride programs: • Dial-A-Ride • ADA Paratransit Rides

There are two Saturday routes: • Route 22 – McMinnville to Grand Ronde • Route 44 – McMinnville to Tigard
Do buses operate on holidays?
YC Transit does not operate on major holidays, including: • New Years Day • Memorial Day • Independence Day • Labor Day • Thanksgiving Day • Christmas Day

Are the buses accessible?
Yes! All YC Transit buses are: • ADA compliant • Equipped with wheelchair lifts or ramps • Provide priority seating for seniors and people experiencing disabilities • Safe for service animals and pets in appropriate travel carriers
Will my Personal Care Attendant need to pay a fare if assisting me?
Personal Care Attendants do not need to pay a fare when assisting a customer with a disability on the fixed routes, commuter routes or on Dial-A-Ride or ADA Paratransit.
May I bring my service animal with me?
Yes! Your service animal must be trained to do work or perform tasks that are directly related to your disability.
Can I ride a bus with my bike?
Yes! All Yamhill Transit buses are equipped with bike racks. Please ask your driver for assistance if needed.

How early should I arrive at my bus stop?
Arrive at the stop at least five minutes early.
What should I do if I need help while riding the bus?
Talk with your driver. YC Transit operators are trained to assist customers and to secure mobility devices to ensure a safe ride for all passengers. Service animals are allowed on YC Transit buses.
May I eat on the bus?
For the convenience of all riders, no food is allowed. Non-alcoholic beverages in closed containers are allowed.
What do I do when the bus gets close to my stop?
After the driver announces your stop, let him or her know that it is your stop.
Which bus door should I leave through?
Leave the bus door through the back door. Please look around before exiting to make sure no personal items have been left on or near your seat.
